Daisy works within a broad scale of sizes and shapes. In preparation of exhibiting her Marilyn Series she elected to create large canvases supported by a wooden structure. The nails are subtly placed, curved and painted as Marilyn's eyelashes. Yet another of her characteristic expressions of strength and beauty, in spite of the delicate appearance. Daisy's unconventional workshop is surrounded by industrial tools as the artist prepares each art piece from the structural wooden frame to the canvas and the finished product. Her work is loud, powerful, strong and stable...just like a nail.

Each nail, precisely positioned at the right angle, giving the artist the emotional strength that her vision requires. Daisy works with wood, metal, fabrics, textures and all paint media, such as acrylic, oil, and pastels.
